Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Mobile App Developer focusing on iOS, your key responsibilities include:

• Building and enhancing iOS and Android mobile applications, with a primary focus on iOS (Swift/Objective-C)

• Implementing and refining both native and web UI components within our mobile apps (using WKWebView and WebView)

• Developing and integrating native features such as push notifications and deep linking

• Improving the communication layer between web content and the native app shell

• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and tech leads to deliver an excellent mobile user experience

• Proposing and executing performance optimizations and architectural improvements

Expected Milestones

• Within 1 month: Gain a solid understanding of our current mobile app architecture and deliver your first feature or enhancement

• Within 3 months: Improve our mobile build pipeline, automate parts of our testing workflow, or reduce development friction

• Within 6 months: Take full ownership of a major iOS-specific module or feature

• Within 9 months: Propose and implement significant architectural upgrades to improve performance and maintainability

Required Skills and Experience

• Demonstrable experience in native iOS app development using Swift or Objective-C

• Familiarity with core iOS frameworks and UI/UX patterns

• Experience integrating web content within mobile apps via WKWebView or similar

• Familiarity with mobile app optimization for responsiveness and performance across different iOS devices

• Experience working with mobile analytics to guide development decisions

• Strong communication skills suited for a remote work environment

• Bonus: Experience with Android development (Kotlin/Java), cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter), or web-to-native bridging technologies like Capacitor
